The SUFP Foundation gets a TON of emails from passionate people that we love and support from all over the country telling us stories of injustices towards Pibbles happening in their communities, whether it be not being able to find a place to live because they have a “Pit Bull type dog” or local police shooting and killing innocent Pibbles or not being able to bring their Pibble to parks or certain groomers or day care places or hate groups bullying them on FB or or or….sadly, the list of injustices towards Pibbles and the people who love them goes on and on and on. It is infuriating and soul crushing to hear them all and we would love to help every single person and go after every single injustice and rally around every single case/cause but it’s just not possible. We are one group fighting our own battles. Some of which you know and some of which you don’t. We are constantly combatting dog fighting, local and international injustices, educating and saving lives through our live events, donations and benefitting rescues. Our resources, time and funds are limited just like you but what we want you all to know and understand (which was a HUGE message of the PIBBLE march) is that YOU have the power to create the change you want to see. It may sound cliche but it is FACT. We have seen it time and time again, many of the people who attended the PIBBLE march have gone on to become 501c3’s, have become Pibble fosters, adopters, have created programs in their communities to educate children about Pibbles, marches and rallies have happened and will be happening because those people understand and believe in the power they have to create change and as a result they are part of the solution. Rescues and Foundations are not enough to fix everything. If they were, then all would be fixed. It is up to US to DO all we can when we can and how we can. It matters. You matter. ALL OF IT MATTERS. Doing nothing is not an option and neither is relying on others. So if you email us asking for help and we are not able, it is not because we don’t care about you or your cause it is because we are simply limited. Our hope is next year at this time we will be 3 times the size. The bigger we are, the more supporters we have, the more funds we get the more we can help. For now, we are doing all we can. The Stand Up For Pits website has empowering ideas and suggestions as to how you can do things yourself but in the end YOU must discover which part of this difficult struggle inspires you the most then you must take action in your way the best way you can.

Please take a moment to WATCH THIS VIDEO of some fellow supporters and Pibble loving humans standing together as one voice for our velvet hippos. We are so proud of Tara Lacoste, Leslie Petit Vinson, Leah Wesley and the others who made their voices heard. They are positive examples and inspirations to us all and proof that no matter if it’s 5000 people on the West Lawn of the US Capitol or 5 people in a Clinton Coffee Shop, it absolutely matters and you will be heard. #betheirvoice #standupforpits
