The no DOG FIGHTING/BSL message was inspired by and created by Rebecca Corry specifically for the historical May 3rd, One Million PIBBLE March On Washington DC. These two specific issues were two of the many reasons Rebecca organized the march and remain a large part of the SUFP Foundation mission.
Our items are an amazing way to educate and advocate on top of being comfortable and fashionable. We would like to say that while fundraising and getting the message out there is part of selling these items, it is equally important for people to be educated on what they are walking around wearing. Many for profit companies sell merchandise with the no BSL message in order to make money, yet offer little to no information to people buying it.
We are happy to say standupforpits.us is building two pages dedicated just to BSL and Dog Fighting that will also launch tomorrow for people who want to learn more about both issues and how they can help. Please consider taking the time to educate yourselves on the issues, so when approached and asked about what you’re wearing means, you can properly and with confidence educate others with facts.
