It’s not just stupid, it’s a CRIME to leave a dog in a hot car.
In the state of California it is LEGAL to smash a window and save a dog.
Record breaking heat is happening. Leave your dog at home. Make sure your dog has plenty of water. Period.
Dogs die year after year because people insist on leaving their dogs in hot cars. “I was just running an errand for a minute” they say. Well, it only takes minutes for a dog’s body to start shutting down. These deaths are excruciating and cruel and are 100% PREVENTABLE.
Leave your dog at home. Make sure your dog has plenty of water. Period.
