One Million Pibble March General Guidelines

To ALL PIBBLE MARCH ATTENDEES, below are the 5 walking points for you and your group to choose from on May 3rd, 2014. From these 5 walking points we will converge on the West Lawn of the US Capital. At 12noon we will open an entry point (PHOTO OF THIS TO COME) where people will enter the rally from. The rally will start at EXACTLY 12:30p (so allow yourself enough time) and go for 90 minutes. The peaceful demonstrating that we are participating in is being done on the West Lawn NOT in/on the streets of Washington DC. EVERYONE must follow all city guidelines, which are listed below. All city guidelines will enforced by city law enforcement.

• Stay on the sidewalks and obey traffic and pedestrian signals.
• Allow enough space on the sidewalk for normal pedestrian traffic.
• Do not maliciously obstruct, yell, chant or detain passers-by.
• Do not engage with demonstrators who are involved in unruly behavior.
• Picketing and carrying of signs/banners must be done in an orderly, non-disruptive fashion so that pedestrians can pass by and entrances to buildings are not blocked.

*****NO SIGNS OR BANNER CAN BE HELD ABOVE YOUR HEADS WHILE WALKING TO THE WEST LAWN and when gathering at chosen walking points, STAY ON THE SIDEWALKS and DO NOT OBSTRUCT TRAFFIC or PEDESTRIANS*** Please remember it is a privilege to exercise our first amendment right and we are guests at the nations capital and we are to respect it. 

***ONCE YOU ARRIVE at the West Lawn there will be over 100 volunteer marshals in bright orange t-shirts who will happily answer your questions and guide you and provide you with information. Volunteer marshals will also provide instructions and guidance to the area that will be provided to those of you with medical medical needs who require a service animal. NO other DOGS will be allowed at this event.***
