Education, Advocacy & Activism

Educating, advocating and acitvism is vital and desperately needed.

The hardest part about saving pit bull type dogs are humans.
Fear based ignorance and discrimination is far more dangerous than any dog of any kind could ever be.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY DOGFIGHTING TIP LINE

SUFP created, operates and has been funding the Los Angeles Dog Fighting Tip Line since 2015. This effort/program serves Los Angeles and surrounding area residents. Viable tips received are sent to HSUS and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office for review. While the tip line’s sole purpose is to field dogfighting tips, SUFP does take the time to forward along cruelty and other miscellaneous calls which need to be handled by LAAS. Los Angeles does not have an Animal Cruelty Task Force so we are doing all we can to help end dogfighting and other animal related crimes with the resources we have.

ONE MILLION PIBBLE MARCH on DC

The One Million Pibble march on Washington dc happened May 3, 2014 and the effects are still being seen today. SUFP continues to offer guidance and support to others who organize marches and rallies. An estimated 5000 people attended the PIBBLE march and rally in Washington dc in an effort to raise awareness about the dogfighting epidemic and the ignorance that is BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) which continues to cost innocent lives.
