TODAY is the last day to donate through gofundme. I will be removing the page tomorrow. Although we are still $9000 from our goal on that page we did great with t-shirts and hoodies. T-shirts are available till tomorrow midnight through standupforpits.us.

Any funds raised over the cost to produce the One Million PIBBLE March on Washington DC will stay with the Stand Up For Pits Foundation and be used to continue to educate, advocate and save lives.
I want to personally thank each every one of you who purchased T-shirts and/or hoodies, donated, shared the links and participated on whatever level you could in order to make this very grass roots idea into what is now a national and international movement.
I am blown away by the support and ecstatic at the willingness people have shown to stand up for what is right together as one loud voice.
New thinking. New language. A new way of doing things. Thousands believing in something that has never been done before and doing it with such passion and excitement has been the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
I dedicated one year of my life to an idea. The idea being to cast a wide net on a national level and to provide a platform for which to be heard. To get people in and outside of the animal community invested in this cause. To make people understand that discrimination and abuse is all of our problem. Pit Bull Terriers are simply the mirror reflection and victims of what I believe is a very damaged and seriously broken society. To ban the victim is not and will never be the answer. The answer is for us to stand up, be heard, offer solutions and take back our communities.
We have the power and the resources to make petitions, organize rallies, marches, create Facebook pages, website, videos, call legislators etc…do whatever it takes to motivate people into DOING SOMETHING. There are SO many things we can do!
I hope that this march on Washington proves to people you can do something and your voice matters. If a grossly underdeveloped 43 year old woman who will likely die alone can create a national movement by herself from a one bedroom apartment with zero dollars and only faith and conviction then YOU ALL can do it too. You have more power than you think. We can reach thousands with a push of a button. We can educate ourselves and by doing so educate others. We can be heard and we can inspire and demand change. It may not happen overnight and it is absolutely not easy and at times, soul crushing but creating safe and humane communities for humans and pets is absolutely worth it. These are your children, family pets and loved ones you are protecting and it’s time to take back the power in that.
I don’t know if 500 people or 50,000 people will show up on the US Capital West Lawn and to me that has never determined the “success” of this event or my dream of providing this historical platform. What matters is DOING SOMETHING. I did something. You did something. We did something together. May 3rd 2014 is a giant step in the right direction. It may take 100 more marches on Washington but it can be done and it will be done. My hope is that in our lifetimes we can look back at the past 3 decades of genocide and horrors done to innocent voiceless beings as a shameful time in American history never to be repeated again.
This is only the beginning. #betheirvoice #angel
