The Stand Up For Pits Foundation is SO excited to share yet another amazing PIBBLE march inspired story with all you amazing humans this morning!! We have the most bad ass amazing supporters on the planet and they don’t mean maybe. Amazing people like Shara D’Angelo and her husband stepping up and being part of the solution by taking action. This is exactly what it takes to make change and we are so proud of them and all of you doing all you can to end abuse and discrimination. Keep up the amazing work!!

“Hello Stand Up for Pits! I wanted to first start off by saying thank you for doing what you do for these awesome dogs! It truly is amazing.
I hope you don’t mind me taking a moment to send you this message. My husband and I have been brainstorming for a few months now on how we can help make a difference for pit bulls that by no fault of their own have a bad rap because they are brought into terrible situations such as the ones who were involved in Mike Vick’s dog fighting ring and abuse.

We recently attended the One Million Pibble March on Washington DC (photos attached) which was hosted by Rebecca Corry and we were inspired by what she has been doing for the breed. So we have taken the initiative and started an organization that is dedicated to raising money for pit bull and pit bull type dog rescues which will be sponsored by local musicians/artists and local businesses. We will not only be raising money for some amazing rescues, but will be spreading positive pit bull awareness. We will join in the push to end stereotypes of these misunderstood dogs one music note at a time.

We are just two people from Long Island, NY with a dream to help these babies. We have our first benefit show scheduled for October 11th and would love to see as many people there as possible so that we can raise money for some great Pit Bull rescues.
