We are overwhelmed and amazed at all the PIBBLE March inspired stories that just keep coming!! Amazing people figuring out how they can help and then DOING it. We are so proud of this amazing human that is Stephanie McPeak!!! This is what it’s all about. If we are to ever see real change we must all do our part. Figure out what you’re passionate about, educate yourself on how you can make a difference and then DO it! More proof that one person can make a difference.

“Hi Rebecca, my name is Stephanie and I just want to say thank you. The million pibble march has made a huge impact in my life. I have 3 pibbles and 2 rott/pit mixes. One of my pitties was born deformed and the breeder brought him into the animal hospital that I work at to euthanize him. I took him in and he has been an incredible inspiration for the past 8 years. After going to the march I thought to myself “what can I do to make a difference” and I looked at my precious little Willing. I knew the answer. I took him to the Scottish Games to see how he would act around large crowds and he was a super star. There was a little girl (probably around 6 or 7 years old) with metal braces on the outside of her legs. When she saw my 3 legged, deformed dog, her only concern was for him. Her face lit up and I knew at that moment that therapy work was his calling. That night I filled out my application for Paws For People. We went to the evaluation and he passed everything at the advanced level (they have 3 – basic, intermediate, and advanced). He also earned his Canine Good Citizen while there. He flew through his training with flying colors as well. We are going to be visiting our local veteran’s hospital now and in the fall he will be tested for the children’s reading program (they only have testing a few times a year and fall is the next available). Once we have enough hours logged we will be visiting A.I. DuPont Children’s Hospital. Willing will be an inspiration to people with disabilities as well as teach people that pit bulls are not just what you hear in the news. Had it not been for the Million Pibble March, we probably wouldn’t be on this fantastic roller coaster ride that we are on now. Willing is my hero, and because of you, he will get to be a hero to lots of other people as well. You can visit his facebook page  (Willing The Wonder Dog). Thank you again for being our inspiration. You are amazing! Keep up the fabulous work.”
