Meet Bubba. Bubba was pulled on Dec 27th from the Carson shelter by a local Akita Rescue. Bubba went directly from the shelter to the hospital where he will now stay for the next 3 days. He is severely dehydrated, weighs 60 pounds (25 lbs underweight), is believed to be 2 or 3 years old, he is not fixed and can’t be until his health improves. He is great with people, good on leash and in the car. This said, he is in bad shape. Ear, eye and severe skin infection. He is swollen and in discomfort. He has not been tested with cats, dogs or kids and won’t be until healthy. He has shown no aggression. The SUFP Foundation has covered all expenses for this little hippo and we’re pulling for him to make a full recovery. The number one priority at this time is his health and getting him to 100% but we wanted to introduce you all to this amazing little Pibble boy and his new journey into a life without suffering.
