“One year ago I walked out of my DC hotel to see a sea of humanity. As far as the eye could see were people who gathered all wearing my PIBBLE shirts from all over the country, Canada and England to march, rally and stand together for Pitbull type dogs. This footage is of only ONE of the FIVE groups that converged on our nations Capitol to be the voice for the voiceless. The May 3rd 2014 PIBBLE march on Washington DC made US history as it was the first of it kind. It is very difficult for me to put into words what this experience was like. It will forever be the most important moment in my life. It will always be my proudest accomplishment to stand with these AMAZING and compassionate human beings who believe in the truth and doing all they can to end abuse, discrimination and save innocent lives. The lives that have been changed, saved and the amazing programs and efforts that still continue to happen as a result of this historical day is truly beyond what I ever expected. I organized this event by myself with no money or resources and I dedicated every single day for an entire year to doing so. I did it for one reason and one reason only and her name is Angel. I wanted to be her voice on a large scale and provide others the opportunity to do the same. We wanted to send a massage and be heard and seen on behalf of those who can’t. We wanted to honor the lost and tell the truth about the ones we love and the millions like them who deserve a chance. This day has inspired other marches and rallies and another large march coming up May 30th in Ohio. One of the many things people took from that day was that each and every one of us have the power to create change. It is just a matter of DOING it. It is my opinion that living life without purpose is a life not worth living. 7 years ago I discovered my purpose and it came in the form of an Angel. So as long as there is air in my lungs I will continue to be her voice and the voice of the millions like her. “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”-Desmond Tutu.”
