Law makers have deemed Pitbull type dogs “inherently dangerous” yet DAILY humans prove to be the most dangerous living things on earth.

“The 41-year-old man accused of taping a 15-month-old dog’s muzzle shut last week was issued a $50,000 bond Tuesday morning, and told he must surrender another dog at his home.
William Leonard Dodson was arrested Monday night in the abuse case of Caitlyn, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix who was found last week with electrical tape wrapped around her muzzle, according to North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor. “Dodson, who has been charged with animal cruelty, was issued a $50,000 surety bond Tuesday. He also must surrender a second dog he has at his residence, the judge ordered.  An animal cruelty conviction is a felony, carrying a five year penalty or $5,000 fine.
At the time of his arrest, Dodson was serving probation for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.”

We, as community members cannot tolerate abuse to animals. Animal abusers are EVERYONE’S problem.  Factually, they will likely and most often times DO go on to commit crimes against humans. These individuals make communites unsafe for humans and pets and it’s up to us to keep reporting and witch hunting these people down. Most cities and counties are wildly under staffed with animal control and ACTF officers. In LA County there are only 80 officers to cover a county of 10 million residents.  Protecting our communities by investigating, arresting and convicting animal abusers is not a priority to city officials so we have to make it our priority and continue to keep doing all we can to protect these innocent and voiceless beings, ourselves and our communities.  Always report abuse to law enforcement, your local ACTF and animal control. If you don’t get a response, get loud and keep being heard until you do. Offer to assist law enforcement. Raise reward money and encourage others to post flyers and and posters and don’t stop until arrests are made. Report dog fighting to 1-877-TIP-HSUS and if a fight is in progress, call 911.
