Approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year. Of those, approximately 3.9 million are dogs. Each year, approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized of those 1.2 million dogs. An estimated 85% of dogs in shelters are “Pitbull type dogs.” This does not include the sad facts regarding puppy mills or the countless dogs who suffer from the horrors of dog fighting, neglect and abuse who never even make it to the shelter.

The fact that puppy mills and backyard breeding is still happening in 2015 in the Unites States of America-a first world country-is embarrassing and it is ABUSE. While it’s true some people may genuinely just don’t know better, we will continue to find and educate them but there are many who absolutely know better and still continue to do it. These so called “reputable” breeders…blow the hardest. What kind of person KNOWS millions of animals die each year in shelters and still force breed animals into the population? It’s shameful, reckless, irresponsible and beyond ignorant. The ego and need for power one must have to actively force animals to have sex so as to create the “perfect low rider” or giant HULK dog is scary. A human with zero conscience, driven by greed with no regard for life is dangerous. If you are one of those people and on this page, please block us. If you know one of these people, send this letter to them. We do not respect or condone a single thing about you and if you were being forced to give birth for money perhaps then you would understand how wrong it is.

Many great Americans have given their lives for you to live in a land of opportunity. A place where you can accomplish whatever you desire if you work hard, a country where you have the power to create positive change and help make the world you live in better and you choose to facilitate animal rape for personal profit.

For those of you considering or know someone considering buying from a breeder, DO NOT DO IT. Contact a reputable rescue and ADOPT. Go topetfinder.com. Educate yourself on the type of dog that best fits your lifestyle and what the kind of dog you want needs in order to live a long happy and healthy life. Be sure you can give that animal what it needs. These are lives not toys, hobbies or trophies.#standupforpits
