5 days ago SUFP Foundation got a letter about a burned Pibble in Chicago named Kobe and we shared him. We are thrilled to report that this precious hippo has been pulled and is in great hands! The SUFP Foundation has donated $500 to Tails Of Hope Rescue to help with Kobe’s rehabilitation and we wish him a long love filled life he so rightly deserves. We thank our amazing supporters, Marta for taking him on, Johanna for making us aware of Kobe and for all those who continue to stand up for Pibbles and be their voice. MORE INFORMATION ON KOBE
“Im writing on behalf of our beautiful Kobie. A pit bull puppy that Rebecca got word about from our local Chicago kill shelter. He was dumped as an owner surrender with a complete bullshit story per usual. Confined in medical and marked as extremely urgent due to the degree of his wounds and lack of space we pulled him not to mention THAT FACE.
As a fellow Pibble March member I reached out to Rebecca on Instagram with a picture of Kobe being safe and giving kisses of happiness. I said he and Angel should date because that is obvious… She laughed and kindly encouraged to write an email sharing Kobe’s Go Fund Me and story.
Of course we would appreciate any help and specifically a larger voice to spread the message yet again of how forgiving and simply amazing the Pibble is. Kobe sends his love as do I. Hurry up with planning another Pibble March let’s crush this BSL bullshit.”
AS OF TODAY
“Kobe is a lover. Resting. Healing. Came down with Kennel Cough so we are working on that. Loving and sleeping is our current game. We go in back to the vet to change bandages on Monday and make sure everything is looking good. Thank you again for your support!”
Much Love,
Marta and Kobe (who also is looking for a phenomenal forever home)
