Last night we were told, this guys is still at the shelter. The shelter has been made aware that we are all networking him, so it is buying him some time. The shelter said they will let the Stand Up For Pits Foundation know before they euthanize him.

Many rescues are full and are unable to pull dogs because rescues need FOSTERS. Please consider reaching out to your local rescue and becoming an approved foster. Fostering gets dogs out of the shelter and buys others coming in more time. Without fosters, rescues are not able to take dogs out of the shelter because they have nowhere to put them. Fostering is VITAL. People can tag rescues and groups all day long telling them to go get this dog and the many like him but without a foster, they simply cannot.
If you have room in your home for a temporary soul, just know, you will be saving a life. You don’t have to adopt to save a life and to be a successful rescue there does not need to be a sanctuary or facility. All that is needed are qualified, dedicated fosters willing to hang on to the dog for as long as it takes until he/she is placed in a home.
@noelaniig is an amazing example of the power if fostering. If you don’t follow her, You need to. By opening her home she has single handedly saved a lot of amazing inherently good souls.

The Stand Up For Pits Foundation has and will continue to support the efforts of people like Noelani and groups who take on dogs with approved fosters and we will continue to remind people about why to not support breeders. The 200 dogs who will be put to sleep Los Angeles county today are dying because of irresponsible and uneducated humans. We have the power to change this. ‪#‎standupforpits‬ ‪#‎donotsupportbreeders‬‪#‎spayandneuter‬
