The work continues on all City shelter vehicles and shelters. The WEST LOS ANGELES SHELTER vehicles and facility now have our Los Angeles County and surrounding area tip line information. The more residents who are aware of this resource, the harder it will be for animal abusers to hide. This resource will empower people to take action and those actions will lead to arrests and convictions. Removing sociopathic animal abusers from society makes communities safer for humans and pets.
Now is a great time to mention that nothing about this effort/program is easy and not one bit of it is free or inexpensive but absolutely worth every penny and enormous amount of work.
SUFP is ambitious in all the work we do because we believe to create and see change we must be the change we want to see. The abuse of animals and dogfighting is getting worse. Clearly the old way isn’t working. The time is NOW to think different, do different and behave different. Doing things differently or that have never been done before will always bring out dumbs dumbs criticizing and judging from the comfort of their couch but don’t get discouraged. I said it at the PIBBLE march rally and still very much mean it, “fuck em.” Keep doing the work. Innocent voiceless lives are depending on us to save them from human monsters and we should be doing ALL we can however we can to make that happen.
Our work is all day every day all year round. No days off. Example; since July 12th, SUFP has donated $5000 to front line rescue efforts in addition to assisted adoptions, tip line community outreach, supported several pibble nonprofits while educating and advocating. We will be seeking grants in the coming months but currently we don’t have grants or sponsors.
