Every year we help and save so many. We raise domestic and international awareness, support nonprofits nationwide with fundraising opportunities, grants, publicity and help get their dogs adopted. Our tiny foundation made history marching on Washington and this year independently launched a Los Angeles county dogfighting tip line serving over 10 million residents and not one minute of it has been or continues to be easy. We’ve never received a grant from other organizations in the animal community and don’t have VIP bungalows so as to entice celebrity support. We just work our balls off and earn every penny the hard way all while dealing with open mouthed breathing trolls in and outside of the animal community daily.
But getting letters like the one below, creating change and saving lives makes it all worth it. We get support from people all over the world who have and don’t have dogs because our message and mission is universal, factual and truthful. We believe abuse and discrimination is wrong. Whether the abused and discriminated has two legs or four, it is wrong. While we can’t afford sad commercials or huge print ads that generate millions, I am proud of the work we do and happy to announce our first dogfighting tip line billboard goes up in Palmdale CA early January and be up for 3 months. I wish we could have more but this is what we can afford right now.
It’s disturbing there even needs to be a “cause” to end abuse, discrimination and save inherently good lives but we live in a fucked up world with some evil humans and doing nothing is not an option. Violence against animals effects us all and is everyone’s problem.-Rebecca Corry
“We at Forgotten Dogs Rescue want to thank the SUFP Foundation for inviting us to participate in Stand Up For Pits Tacoma for a 3rd year! We had a great time, raised $3500 for our rescue dogs and two of our pibbles may get forever homes because of the event!
We also want to thank SUFP for donating a $500 grant! This grant will go towards TPLO surgeries for two of our pits with torn ACL’s, Balboa & Quasi (pictured). Thank you so much Stand Up For Pits & Rebecca Corry!”-Katharine Farrington
