LETTER FROM FORGOTTEN DOGS RESCUE
Azalea also found her forever home at Stand Up For Pits!
Her adopter was so excited about the prospect of adopting her that she submitted her application that very night (well, morning, we received it around 1am!). We quickly processed the application and did the home visit, and Azalea went home a week later. Her new mom picked her up from our adoption event where we were doing Santa photos, so they got their first family photo with Santa!
Before coming to our rescue, Azalea had already been passed around from home to home numerous times (and she was only about 2-3 years old!), and had never really received any training. When she came into our care her foster mom immediately began working with her on basic obedience, and we’re thrilled her adopter is continuing to put in the effort to make Azalea the best dog she can be!
Her new name is Papi and she’s already signed up for obedience classes.

Papi has been doing great. We’re working with her on her leash skills and staying calm around exciting people, sounds, and smells. We think she’s an awesome dog and a great fit for us. She’s been great overall. We love her and are down to put in the work to help her be a happy, well-adjusted forever pup.
