Molly was hit by a train in Baltimore and her leg is severed but she is alive and in BARCS care. BARCS are dedicated to saving her and the Stand Up For Pits Foundation is happy we were able to provide a grant for her care.
Big thanks to BARCS, Show Your Soft Side and to all of you who donate, volunteer and support nonprofits working hard to save lives. We are all in this together and with your support we were able to help contribute to Molly.

MOLLY UPDATE: Wow. We are so grateful to have all of you by our side—and Molly’s side! The outpouring of love and support from the Baltimore/Maryland community and beyond is truly incredible. Here is a photo of our sweet girl this morning, waking up from a much-needed, night of sleep.

Yesterday Amtrak officer Kevin McMullen, who scooped Molly off the tracks, paid BARCS a visit. He told us that – even in her moment of horror, as Molly was rapidly losing blood – she was trying to give him kisses as he lifted her.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who gave to the Franky Fund in honor of Molly, including generous gifts from Amtrak officer McMullen, CSX and Rebecca Corry from Stand Up For Pits Foundation.

Thank you to the teams at Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Catonsville and Everhart Veterinary Hospital taking Molly at a moment’s notice, even when you both were already fully booked.

Any extra funds raised in honor of Molly will go directly to our Franky Fund for Medical Care. Molly is just one of four extreme cases we’ve had this week alone!
