BARCS Animal Shelter in Baltimore has been chosen to participate in this year’s first annual Stand Up For Pits happening May 15th! Currently BARCS has some precious hippos who need homes who seem to be getting overlooked at the shelter and have been there for quite some time. So we’ll be sharing these special souls and ask that you all please consider sharing them too. Together we can get these guys seen by more people and hopefully into the loving homes they deserve. Lets do this!

Nine-year-old Willis demonstrates the perfect Valentine’s kiss! This sweet boy is handsome in his very own way—he has a pink hairless butt, he has flat hippopotamus teeth, and he is allergic to wheat…but you know what? We think he’s perfect.
This old man has paid his dues, being a good, loyal buddy for nearly a decade, yet somehow, he wound up dropped off at BARCS, at the time in his life that he should be being spoiled, loved and adored.
Willis is the Stand Up For Pits Foundation’s Baltimore Pet of the Week. They are dedicated to finding him a home on or before SUFP on May 15th!-BARCS
