Yesterday, our precious little Sally got x-rays, her right canine tooth pulled, a large mast cell tumor removed on her vulva and she will finally be spayed after being force bred, what looks like, many many times.
She stayed in the hospital over night for observation and care and goes back to daycare this afternoon. The doctor got good margins on the tumor and she will get her recheck next Wednesday. When Sally is back to 100% she will be available for adoption and whoever gets this gem of a soul will be extremely lucky. Sally is SO loving and mushy and kind and special and we look forward to this part of her life finally being over so she can get on with the life she deserves. Also, this little hippo’s skin is also improving daily and her kennel cough is completely gone! Go Sally Go!!
