We are rarely speechless but we are finding it hard to find words to express how beautiful this video is. To think this precious boy lived on a chain for NINE years in his own feces, covered in flies and was left by himself every Friday-Sunday, with infected skin and little to no human contact and THIS beautiful and inherently good spirit and abundance of love was inside of him the whole time. Well…all we can say is, we love this dog so much and the incredible humans who took action to save him and who continue to show this inherently good soul what it feels like to know love and be respected. Turn up the volume. This is what joy looks and sounds like.

“Blue visited the vet again today for a quick check-up and to make sure he’s ready for his neuter surgery. We’re so happy to report that his skin is looking fantastic!! It still has a long way to go but each day it looks and feels better thanks to his amazing foster humans Byron, Nadia, Aaron and Lauren. They have been caring for him around the clock and without them- as well as the dedication of Alice who found him- this precious senior would have likely been dead by now. Instead, he is loving life inside a home, has a giant backyard and gets constant visitors. We are thrilled that Blue is cleared for surgery; he will be getting neutered next Thursday. The Stand Up For Pits Foundation has and will continue to fund his medical care which has, so far, surpassed $600 not including next week’s surgery.
