We are overjoyed to let you know that, just a little over a month after his rescue, Blue has been ADOPTED! After nursing him back to health and caring for him around the clock, Blue’s incredible foster family decided that he is right where he belongs and we couldn’t agree more. Blue has made a complete 180, both physically and mentally, and we are so grateful for the dedication of those who have been involved in his rescue. Blue is no longer confined by a 20lb chain. He will never sleep alone outside again. He will never be infested with flies or ticks or go years without medical care. Instead, Blue now has a giant backyard that he loves to run around in. He has endless toys and loves his oatmeal baths. He goes for walks with his humans and, best of all, he sleeps inside with them. Blue is LOVED. His golden years will be his best and for that we are so grateful. Blue’s rescue was a group effort and we must thank Alice, Aaron, Lauren, Byron, Nadia and Robert for their unwavering commitment to Blue’s wellbeing. Thank you for taking a chance on this senior boy. And happy birthday to Byron, Blue’s dad. ?
Thank you to Rebecca Corry and the Stand Up For Pits Foundation for funding all of Blue’s much needed medical care. And endless thanks to you all for your dedication to the cause and for supporting our efforts with Blue. We look forward to seeing sweet Blue enjoy his newfound health and happiness. #BlueWins! ?
