The SUFP Foundation posted this precious hippo named Maple who was set to die in a northern CA shelter. A shelter staff member named Johanna, reached out to us and asked if we could get the word out as her time was up and Johanna loved her. We are SO excited to report that Maple girl was saved! We want to thank every single person who took the few minutes it takes to share her and more importantly thank the human who got off the couch, got in the car and took the action needed to save her life. We are honored to be a small part of another very successful life saving group effort. Maple wins!!

Maple was rescued from the shelter this morning! A local foster came forward and agreed to foster sweet Maple! Thank you so much for helping to spread the word about her. I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate it!
