  1. They get ALL the love
  2. They give you ALL the love
  3. one on one time is special and soulful
  4. less poop to pick up
  5. less food to feed
  6. less potential vet bills
  7. easier to travel

People need to stop seeing dogs that require to be an only pets as a “negative.” You don’t like all people and dogs should not be expected or made to like all dogs. Dogs are individuals just like people are and they deserve to live the life that best suits them. Having dog that fears or does not get along with other dogs simply means, YOU need to get off the couch, off your phone and walk or hike your dog. Bring your dog with you to eat outside at an outdoor cafe, over to friend’s houses or to places where no other dogs are that you can enjoy each other’s company. There are countless stories of horrible incidents happening at dog parks and that’s because a lot of times dog parks become place where lazy people can be on their phones  or socializing with others while their dogs run around with other dogs they don’t even know. Having an only pet means you need to be aware, be responsible and actually go out and move your body. Having an only pet is a gift and relationship you will cherish and nurture. Please share this message with others and please, if you feel yourself having a negative thought with regards to only pets, STOP. If we want others to consider only dog’s into their homes then we must educate them on the benefits and positives to having an only pet.
