My name is Jamie and I work at The Ark Animal Hospital and Boarding Kennel in Hiram, Ga. and we have had a pitbull named Mid-Nite in our boarding kennel since the beginning of January. He has been abandoned by his owner and I am trying to get him into rescue before he is euthanized. I do not have a lot of time left.
We have contacted his owner on many occasions, sent 2 certified letters, animal control and the police to his house to have him pick up Mid-Nite and he has told us to let animal control take and euthanize him. We have spoken with animal control and they have told us to euthanize him at our facility so he isn’t stressed out from relocating him.
He has some animal aggression and can take a moment to warm up to new people but I have had no trouble in handling him. He is a good dog who doesn’t deserve to be killed after a lifetime of neglect.
If there is anything you can do to help me save Mid-Nite’s life I would be forever grateful and would help with transporting him.
