This big blue goof, Jamie, is a volunteer favorite at the Wake County Animal Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. He came in after being seized in early December and was then on protective custody hold until his case was settled. He went to the adoption floor after his hold, and started winning over the dog walkers. He’s quite nice on a leash (unless he’s really gotta potty!), is a gentleman with the ladies, and is a pretty laid back dude. Here’s the problem: he’s gotten so barrier frustrated that he’s been acting horrible to staff and customers through the kennel on the adoption floor. It’s breaking the volunteer’s hearts to see that he’s having such a hard time, because he really is a really good boy. He’s 50lbs, hw negative, unaltered and around 4.5 years old. He really needs a rescue or a foster to step up for him and get him out of the shelter! If you can help, please contact the rescue coordinator, Cindy Lynch, on her cell phone at 919-368-5422 or volunteer, Amanda Barry, on her cell at 919-802-4707. Thank you!
