There are French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pibbles…every color of the rainbow sitting in full Los Angel’s Shelters right this minute. Please consider fostering and/or adopting a life.
If you can’t at this time, please educate others about responsible pet ownership. Secure your yards so your dogs don’t get out. Spay/Neuter your pet’s so there aren’t unwanted animals being put to sleep. Do not buy dogs from a “reputable” or backyard breeder. Adopt a dog that matches your lifestyle. Make sure you’re able to provide proper medical care and nutrition. And please adopt till death do you part. Animals are not toys. They are not hobbies and most certainly not disposable. They are individuals with thoughts and personalities and specific needs and they deserve respect, patience and dedication.
Save a life. Go to PETFINDER.COM. Be sure to take the time to educate yourself on the type of dog you want and what they require, be patient with the rescue groups and understand taking on a life is a financial and lifelong commitment. It is not okay to throw them away because they get sick or have behavioral issues. You work through it because that’s what a living being deserves.
