While this is a horrific and disturbing story, it is far from uncommon. The horrors dogs face in America and around the world – especially pit bull type dogs – is unimaginable.
“Saving Jones” is an award winning feature length documentary that takes an honest hard look at how what is happening to pit bull type dogs – the most abused, discriminated against and murdered dogs on earth is a human, not dog problem. There is nothing more dangerous than a human being yet society continues to blame and ban voiceless victims based solely on their appearance. Historically this way of thinking has had unthinkable consequences of epic proportions. Fear based ignorance and hate doesn’t care how many legs one has and its outcome is always the same. Carnage, genocide and suffering. It’s time humanity is held accountable for the mass slaughter and crimes against pit bull type dogs for over four decades. This story should be making global front page news. This should be being talked about on all media platforms and animal cruelty should be a talking point at every political debate but it’s continues to be ignored. Until ending animal abuse is a priority in America and around the world communities for humans and pets will remain unsafe. Where there is animal abuse there is always other crime.
