Michael is one of the countless displaced victims of the The Eaton Fire and is now living in a motel with his beloved hippo. Michael saw the post about SUFP covering the cost of displaced humans with pets for three nights in an effort to provide repreave and some decompression from the trauma of this catasrophe. Animals are feeling the anguish, anxiety and devastation just as much as their humans and they all deserve a break from this nightmare. Michael and Candygirl were settled in where they are so we funded another three night stay. Thankfully Michael’s home is still standing but they are not allowed back into the area so having a secured place is one less thing he needs to worry about and we’re thrilled we could help them out a bit. Thank you all again for sharing this desperately needed resource and we will continue to share the faces and names of the good humans and their precious the SUFP Foundation are able to help. We have secured rooms for others and are working to help more folks today and in the coming days.
“It was such a pleasure to speak with your representative a few minutes ago and I appreciate her letting me vent a bit. You all awesome! 🙌🏾” – Michael
