The SUFP Foundation has been fighting cruelty for over a decade. We have funded tens of thousands of dollars worth of medical care for dogfighting survivors, the dogfighting epidemic was one of the main reasons we marched on Washington DC back in 2014 and in 2015 we launched the Los Angeles dogfighting tip line which is still operating and funded by SUFP. Sadly Los Angeles dismantled the Animal Cruelty Task Force so we are solely reliant on law enforcement and Animal Control to handle viable tips. As you can imagine not having an ACTF has been devastating for animals suffering the unthinkable in LA city and county and the numbers of cruelty cases continues to climb. As difficult as it is, we will always have the tip line as a resource to iur community but our resources are limited and we can only do so much. The cruetly crisis happening in Los Angeles and around the country is everyone’s problem and can’t be ignored. There are monsters walking freely among us and those who commit violent acts against animals will likely and most often times do go on to commit crimes against humans. Please support anti-cruelty efforts whenever and however you can. Be aware of what is happening to the animals in your neighborhood and be their voice.
