My precious dogfighting/cruelty survivor Todd and I have been invited to speak at the LA DA press conference downtown Los Angeles at the Hall Of Justice. The press conference will be addressing the animal cruelty crisis happening in Los Angeles which continues to worsen. For the first time in history a District Attorney is acknowledging the crisis and taking steps to end it. Myself and the SUFP Foundation have been fighting for the lives of pit bull type dogs in Los Angeles for 15 years and some of those efforts along with what society as a whole can do to support our work to end the horrific abuse so many dogs in Los Angeles are enduring daily will be discussed. Please take the time to stream this press conference at 3p and share this post far and wide. In order for change to begin, everyone needs to know the truth about what is happening to animals in Tinsel Town. I look forward to being the voice for those who can’t speak today and I’m grateful to the DA’s office for inviting me – the SUFP Foundation – Andrea Pett and Todd to be a part of this desperately needed press conference. Acknowledging we are in a state of emergency is the first step to making communties safer for humans and pets. Get involved however you can and understand that animal abusers are a danger to us all not just four legged types. What is happening in Los Angeles is everyone’s problem. Choose to be the change you want to see. – Rebecca Corry
