We are beyond thrilled to announce our new award winning documentary short “Thanksgiving For Angels” is now and official selection of the Awareness Festival 2025!
We are honored to be a selected into a festival which focusses on films around the world that as they say “Does More Than Entertain.” This festival gives a much needed platform to film makers and story tellers who are fighting educate, raise awareness and make and inspire real change. Once again, it is an honor to be chosen for this festival and to shine a desperately needed bright light on the Lancaster Animal Care Center, the beautiful lives who end up there and the incredible volunteers who donate their time and give so much of who they are to show voicleless sentient beings the respect, love and dignity they deserve.
We will announce the exact screening date and time once we know it and encourage you all to come and support this film and the dogs and humans in it fighting to save them. Real change starts with education. The truth is a powerful thing and so is what people can do when they work together.

A true story set in the Lancaster Animal Care Center – a high kill California shelter just 90 minutes from one of America’s wealthiest cities – Los Angeles. Thanksgiving For Angeles follows the Stand Up For Pits Foundation as it feeds, loves and helps get as many animals seen and saved as possible while trying to raise awareness and inspire action to end the overcrowding crisis happening at Lancaster and across America.
