We have spoken at length to our friends at Humane World For Animals about the cruelty crisis on Skid Row. They were willing to help over two years ago when we begged Staycee Dains to take action and they are still willing to help. We are grateful for their offer and happy to see a large organization listening and caring about ending the horrific Los Angeles animal cruelty crisis.
Mayor Bass you now have 30 days (from the date of this letter) to sit down face to face with Rebecca Corry to discuss the state of emergency happening in Los Angeles to animals you choose to ignore. There are real solutions and options to end all this. It’s entirely up to you to start caring, stop lying and take action.
The nation is watching. If you would like to share your voices – record yourself stating “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” and email it here. There is nationwide outrage about this crisis. You all deserve to have your voices heard.
The SUFP Foundation has been serving Los Angeles for 15 years. To see things get to where they are today – a complete and total crisis – is unthinkable, intolerable and unacceptable. We have offered solutions, resources and funded tens of thousands of dollars worth of medical care for dogs victimized in by Los Angeles due to the inaction of Mayor Bass, LA Animal Services and others who’s JOB it is to protect these animals and all our efforts continue to be ignored.
FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THE SUFFERING ANIMALS IN LOS ANGELES SHELTERS AND ON CITY STREETS WE WILL NOT BE IGNORED ANY LONGER.
