Los Angeles city and county shelters are in a state of emergency. The killing and suffering of innocent adoptable dogs continues while they continue to do nothing to change it. In fact their statements lie to the public and make no mistake – THERE IS NOTHING “NO KILL” ABOUT KILLING ANIMALS. They don’t allow the volunteers to use the word “kill” and have tried telling us we cannot use it. We have those warnings in writing from idiots. Well — TOO BAD. They are killing innocent animals daily and the public needs to know it. Dogs are lacking enrichment items and laying in their filth until slaughtered. When they go kennel crazy – they kill them. When they get sick they kill them. When they run out of space they kill them but under their “guidelines” to remain “NO KILL.” It’s bullshit. It’s KILLING.
This will be our 15th year supporting LA CITY shelters and have donated hundreds of thousands worth of supplies over the years. We bought $600 pools for the North Central Shelter – which were stolen. We offered to fund sail shades and misters so the dogs don’t cook in the summer. They never let us do it. We offered to install covers on the kennels dogs are being isolated in so members of the public don’t put their fingers in them. We offered Spay & Neuter Angel Day services – NONE OF WHICH THEY EVER TOOK US UP ON. From Brenda Barnette to Staycee Dains to Annette Ramirez the apathy continues. They have all played games and wasted our time yet we remain dedicated to helping LA city & county animals.
Mayor Karen Bass has 14 days to sit down face to face with the Stand Up For Pits Foundation and discuss immediate action to end the suffering and slaughter of animals.

DO NOT SUPPORT LEADERS WHO SUPPORT CRUELTY.
KEEP YOUR DOG FOR LIFE.
DO NOT BUY DOGS.
