Precious Lancaster Animal Care Center survivor and honorary hippo HALO – formerly Alvaro – got neutered yesterday and all went amazing! We also got his PCR panel back and the doctors said it showed traces of the vaccines he got in the shelter but that he is medically cleared, safe to be around other animals and fully healthy! We will be keeping him in hospital until Dec 2nd to heal but he is ready for a home to call his own!! He’s been very gentle, loves all of humanity and dogs and seeks human connection. The last 40 days of his life have been a insane. Going from the streets to an overcrowded shelter to the hospital and now getting neutered and he has been as sweet as can be through it all. Halo is approximately 2 years old, located in Los Angeles CA, neutered, up to date on shots and needs to put on some weight. He is a magical little soul who deserves to be in a loving home.
