While “leaders” on federal, state and local levels, celebrities and residents of Los Angeles remain silent and complicit to the horrorific animal crisis happening on Los Angeles city streets and in shelters day by day the rest of world and nation continues to learn and are outraged and shocked. Every second that ticks by means another killed and suffering dog happens in the fourth richest city in the world. While Gavin Newsom trolls adversaries bragging about how amazing his state is and Mayor Karen Bass gaslights millions of residents by telling them “the animals on Skid Row are not neglected” and pretends to start a new “initiative” in “No Kill” LA the slaughtering and suffering continues. Bandaids don’t stop hemoraging. Fixing the wound does.
This stuff is not easy to post about nor is it something we ever hoped would be a reality. It’s painful, sad, disappointing and the most frustrating part is –IT’S FIXABLE. It is up to YOU Los Angeles to open your mouths NOW. To demand IMMEDIATE ACTION and join the rest of the nation and world in their outrage over the treatment of dogs in your Tinsel Town.
PETA, ASPCA,Best Friends Animal Society the joke that is SPCLA are not joining in or offering assistance to the SUFP Foundation. Don’t bother tagging them. We are on our own and for the sake of the animals we will continue this fight for as long as it takes. Reach out to the Olympics committee. Share the crisis with them. Continue reaching out to all media outlets of all kinds in America and around the world. Reach out to any and ALL political figures and don’t stop. Lives are depending on it.
Every human who learns the truth matters. Never underestimate the power of people when they stand together as one voice.
