As things worsen for pit bull type dogs in Los Angeles and across the country and I become more and more vocal about publicly calling out garbage humans who wrongly vilify inherently good dogs while fighting to hold those accountable who condone and support cruelty and killing….
We want to make you all aware of the good humans in music, media, sports, comedy, entertainment and more who use their voices and platforms for good. Over the past 16 years countless compassionate, intelligent, talented and equally kind people from all industries have proudly stood up for pit bull type dogs. They have attended SUFP events, donated, shared posts, educated others and many of them don’t even own pit bull type dogs or dogs at all. They support the cause – not because the Stand Up For Pits Foundation sent them lavish gifts, paid them or pressured them with a PR team. We don’t have a PR team. We don’t spend millions on advertising and we don’t chase down celebs, shower them with gifts to beg them to support us. We save dogs. We stand up for dogs who face unthinkable injustice and hate every day. People who have a capacity and understand abuse and discrimination against any sentient being, regardless how many legs it has is wrong. This is all very simple stuff yet anti pit bull hate groups and broken members if society are more content and comfortable hating and fearing a voiceless dog than taking the time to understand them and how humans are 100% responsible for the horrors they face.
We want to thank everyone who uses their platforms and voices for good. Thank you to those who take the time to learn, have open hearts and minds to these dogs and all sentient beings who are discriminated against and hated simply because of how they look, who they love, worship … etc.
People who choose to ignorantly and recklessly vilify these dogs – which fucks with our job, damages the cause and gets more dogs killed – what you do will be known. You can choose to learn or stay stupid.
Thanks to everyone past, present and future who fight to end cruelty and injustice against inherently good dogs humans have labeled “pit bulls.”
