We thank the NY Post and CA Post for exposing the horrific reality facing animals in Los Angeles.
The Stand Up For Pits Foundation is tired of watching adoptable dogs be killed in so-called “No Kill” shelters while countless others suffer unimaginable abuse in plain sight on our city streets, year after year.
The public deserves to know what is really happening. The gaslighting, the lies, and the false narratives must end. Refusing to implement proven prevention and solution-based measures while adoptable animals continue to die in shelters is unacceptable. No one should be profiting from a preventable animal crisis.
Monopolies over shelters and the control of shelter staff and volunteers are unacceptable. Rescues should be supported, not owned, and the public must be given the truth, the education, and the resources needed to help solve this crisis.
We demand an end to this cruelty and killing and we are prepared to fight for as long as it takes until it happens.
