Remember Jasmine, the adorable speckle-nosed, cross-eyed hippo who was recently transported to her new home in Michigan? Well, we are thrilled to share that Jazzy arrived safely in Michigan and has been home for almost two weeks. She and her pibble sister, Lola, have become the best of friends and even have matching Stand Up For Pits hoodies! We are incredibly happy to have funded Jasmine’s transport across the country to her wonderful home. Thank you to Natalie, long-time SUFP supporter and fellow PIBBLE Marcher, for adopting Jasmine into your home. And thank you to all of our amazing supporters; it is because of YOU that we are able to continue funding such lifesaving efforts. Happy tails, Jazzy!
Please enjoy the following update from Stephanie Doris, Jasmine’s foster mom and transporter:
“Sweet Jazzy has been home for 11 days now and Natalie, Jasmine’s mom, says that things couldn’t be going better! Jazzy has completely settled in at her new home and with her new family, and has absolutely embraced her life in Michigan. And for everyone who’s wondering…yes, the sitting on siblings has begun!!! And sweet Lola seems to have no objections wink emoticon. You can follow the adventures of Jazzy and her new family at: Life with Lola & Jazzy. heart emoticon
I cannot thank the Stand Up For Pits Foundation enough for funding Jasmine’s transport to Michigan as well as covering all of the related costs. Without the financial support of the SUFP Foundation, I don’t know if this would have been possible. I am so grateful to have been able to personally transport Jasmine as well as spend some time at her new home to help with the introductions and integration. Please consider purchasing merchandise, attending the live events, or donating so the Foundation is able to continue the work we do. The SUFP Foundation is a federally recognized, IRS-registered 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and ending the abuse and discrimination of “pit bull type” dogs through live events, financial contributions, education and advocacy. Just last year, the Foundation contributed over $20,000 to dog transports, educational programs, high-cost medical cases, and frontline rescue efforts. Thank you Stand Up For Pits and thank you to everyone who has supported us along this journey!”
