Sweet little Luna is doing great! She’s enjoying her one on one’s with the trainer, eating, relaxing and getting some much needed rest and love.Luna and Tiny are the only two survivors of the dogfighting ring bust that happened in San Diego on March 30th. The other dogs seized were all euthanized. The SUFP Foundation worked diligently since the bust with investigators and county shelter heads to save Luna and Tiny and we are beyond grateful the they agreed to release them. It’s a massive win for these dogs and the cause. In the past 5 years of the 10 dogfighting cases handled in Los Angeles County, only 4 dogs have ever been released and Luna and Tiny are 2 of those dogs.
In addition to covering their stay at the daycare/training facility, the SUFP Foundation will also provide them with basic training. They both got A’s on their county temp tests with people and dogs but have not been tested with cats yet.
