The Stand Up For Pits Foundation receives an enormous amount of emails and comments from our supporters around the world. It’s impossible to share them all but we want to get better at doing that more often. Sharing the amazing things SUFP supporters are doing and the many ways they’re doing it is beyond inspiring and deserves recognition. The following letter is just one of the many many examples of people’s dedication to ending abuse, discrimination and saving lives. We thank and appreciate them.

Hi Stand Up for Pits,

My fiance and I wanted to send along a message to you following the recent donation I made. The donation is in lieu of favors at our wedding and we could not think of a better cause to honor during our special day coming up on June 25th in Connecticut.
I have been following Stand Up for Pits, Angel and Rebecca via social media now for over a year. Your work is unbelievably important and inspiring. Angel’s antics are a true testament to the little spirited souls we all call “pibbles”. We can’t get enough of her big eyes and knowing glances. Olive is doing a damn good job representin’ too.

You will find a picture attached of the two perfectly quirky, smelly, intelligent smooshes that have touched our hearts.
Giff, the black and white guy, is the most stubborn and neurotic fella. He came to us following years in a shelter and has taught us so much. Mostly though, he just makes us laugh. Our house would be boring without his random stress “voms” in the corner just to keep us on our toes and to let us know he can and will do whatever the hell he wants.

And Max, our barrel chested old man, died two years ago. We got him at 13 and had an amazing 9 months with him. Despite battling cancer for most of his time with us, he still pulled us down the street on walks and scarfed down whatever he could find! In less than a year he became a goofy and mischievous part of our family. And…Rebecca, I can’t agree with you more about that stupid “rainbow bridge”. Anyway, I have also attached the messages that will be displayed at our wedding. Hopefully we can do a little part in this big task of ending discrimination against these amazing dogs.

Sincerely,
Sarah Morocco & Tzvet Pandoursky
