In June the Stand Up For Pits Foundation gave $13,000 in Angel Grants to hard working nonprofits around the country (and a group in Australia) doing great work. Read the letter below from one of those groups called Gracie’s Gaurdians. We are honored to have helped and encourage you all to support the work they do.
“Hi Rebecca and team,
Thank you so much for choosing us for the Angel grant. Our semi annual vaccine clinic is one example of how your funds are helping our program. We also have a free spay/neuter clinic to celebrate Pit Bull Awareness month in October and part of the Angel grant will help us with the cost of this clinic.
We had a very successful vaccine clinic this weekend in Fulton Hill. In all we vaccinated 39 dogs, and handed out tons of food, collars, leashes and toys. More importantly we gave out many spay / neuter coupons for free surgeries and even scheduled an appointment or two for our upcoming spay / neuter clinic next month! Thank you to Stand Up For Pits Foundation for the recent Angel grant that made this event possible!
