img_0413Last week the SUFP Foundation received a plea for help from a supporter named Michelle who is a proud Pibble mom and loves her dogs. Michell is a dedicated advocate who does all she can to help rescues and she was worried about the health of her babies because she’s having a bit of hard time at the moment as can happen so often in life. Michelle stated in her letter to us that her dogs “are her life” and they needed to get to the vet and be given their preventative meds, which at this time was not something Michelle was able to cover at this time. Well, we are so happy to report the Stand Up For Pits Foundation covered the costs of all 3 dogs and 3 months of their meds AND all 3 dogs tested NEGATIVE for heart worm!! Read Michelle’s latest letter to us below.

“My name is Michelle and I have been following stand up for pits for a while. Ever since the pibble march in DC, I am the mother to a special needs little guy and as a result I can not work. I have not been able to vet my dogs and felt awful about it. I reached out to SUFP for help getting my three babies vetted. I do a lot if transports by my self and with my sister and never once asked any one for help with my babies. I am very thankful to Rebecca and the SUFP foundation for making it possible to get my furkids vetted and up to date on shots and their meds. If it weren’t for the SUFP Foundation my dogs would not have their meds. Thank you so very much!!! The first picture is us at the pibble march, the second is hank and copper the third is momma bridgette.”
