“80,000-100,000 miles a year. That’s what the ACT Ohio rescue wagon puts on the road saving lives, educating children, police officers, and the community, and providing assistance anywhere we can. We’re already on our 2nd vehicle as we round out the end of our third year, and after putting $3,100 into a new transmission (yay, Jeep CVT trannys ?) we wound up a few weeks ago with another $1,400 in repairs needed (brakes, engine misfiring, etc) to stay on the road. When Rebecca Corry and the Stand Up For Pits Foundation checked in on Banksy, who we saved by partnering with SUFP, I was in the middle of counting beans and deciding if starting a male escort service would be too unethical as a fundraising mechanism. A few days after we chatted and I briefly mentioned our vehicle problems, we received a grant in the mail from the SUFP with a note to go get our rescue wagon fixed!!!! We can’t thank Rebecca enough for her love and support of the underdogs, from the actual dogs to the small rescues that fight for them!!!PS-BANKSY has completed residency training and is up for adoption!!!”
