The Stand Up For Pits  community is a force and it’s awesome to see. You all shared this baby seal who was going to die in a shelter and not only he get adopted but he hit the jackpot!!! Great job everyone!! One share can make the difference between life and death so thank you all for using your platforms to help save lives. Happy life to Vinny, formally knows as Grinner and his amazing family!! Below is the letter and IG post sent to the SUFP Foundation from Grinner’s new mom.

Hello SUFP!

First of all, thank you for all that you do for pits.

As promised, I have attached photos of “Grinner.” His name is now Vinny, after Vincent Van Gogh. (His brother’s name is Picasso!) Here’s the update I wrote on my Instagram post:

Posting this for all the wonderful people that have been asking for updates on this little nugget.  We finally adopted a new dog after much consideration!

Thanks to Urgent Dogs of Miami and the SUFP Foundation, we found out about this handsome angel and fell in love before we even met him. Once we met him, we knew he belonged in our family.

We still have not decided on his permanent name, but I’ll post about it as soon as we do. So far, he and our 12-year-old fur-son, Picasso, seem to get along very well. He is gentle, a sweet boy and LOVES hugs! Whenever I stop scratching or hugging him, he whines and asks for more! He had a blast at the dog park in our community today. We can’t wait to take him to the dog beach as soon as he is better acclimated! We vow to give him the life he deserves and look forward to sharing more of his and Picasso’s life with everyone.

Much love,

Valerie & Victor
