This precious magical soul walked out of that hospital on May 25th carrying her Lamby with the sweetest spirit and love for humans even though she had been failed by people repeatedly and nearly died because of it. Viola is a shining example of what inherent goodness is. She was used, thrown away and exploited by those who were supposed to be her “rescue.” Luckily for Viola we were able to get her and provide her the life saving care she needed and we have not stopped. She overcame all the odds and she lives her life like every day is the first. She is grateful for every meal, every walk, every bath, every person she gets to meet and she is curious about everything. We adore Viola and are honored to have given her this chance. She is beyond deserving. In the meantime we need a long term dedicated foster. Don’t expect us to hand Viola over and not be a daily presence. We check in, we make sure is doing well and we expect fosters to follow the rules. It’s quite simple. Feed her, give her short walks when it’s not hot and love her. She’s now only on a few oral meds which she takes great, she needs a bath once a week and of course kisses on the flaps. All this said, Viola needs and deserves a FOREVER HOME to call her own. Please keep sharing her and if you’re able to foster or want to adopt email [email protected]. She is located in San Diego, approx 5 yrs old, easy on leash, not reactive to dogs or cats but we want her to be the only pet in the home. Viola will be attending Stand Up For Pits Hollywood on Nov 3rd if you’d like to come meet her should she not be adopted yet.
Huge thanks to Mad Mutts, Viola’s amazing foster mom Heather, Kylie, Julia, Libby and all of you who have and continue donate. You are all part of this beautiful life saved. And what a beautiful life she is.
