Today we want to thank our exceptional supporters who take the time to teach children about pit bull type dogs and their inherent goodness. While educating everyone is vital, it is the children who are being handed the burden of the animal crisis so it’s on us to give them the knowledge and tools they need to fix it long after weMre gone. We’re extremely proud Sally, Todd and the icon that is Angel have and continue to be used in educating children all over the country in countless ways. Angel’s story being chosen in National Geographic Kids book as one of the 125 Animals That Changed The World is incredible. Elementary school teacher Jackie Levine making a coloring book about Angel for her young students as a way to teach them about Angel and pit bull type dogs is inspiring beyond words. Every single effort you all take and in all the ways you do it to educate children is vital and appreciated. Teaching children to not fear what they don’t know is how real change will happen and more lives will be saved for generations to come.
Currently we are in the process of working with a youth correctional facility in New York who want to add our documentary film Saving Jones (@savingjones on Instagram) to their curriculum. This would be an exceptional tool to help inspire and educate youth offenders. While this is not finalized yet but we are hopeful and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the film in front of these kids. Even one mind and life inspired by the story matters.
