We saw starving, injured, freezing, unaltered dogs without adequate food, water or shelter in plain sight. Those who claim to “own” them refused offers of medical help for the dog and tranportation and funds we offered for them to get shelter. One person openly admitted his dogs inbreed, refused to spay or neuter and will continue letting it happen.
Mayor Bass, Los Angeles city council members and LA Animal Services continue to ignore the crisis but soon the world will know the truth. No one believes the fake “pilot programs,” “initiatives,” “investigations” and “partnerships” they gaslight the public with. A half a brain and eyes are all that’s needed. A third grader could spend five minutes on Skid Row and recognize animal abuse, cruelty and laws being broken. While they failures focus on “cultural sensitivity” and not “criminalizing homelessness” innocent voiceless animals they are supposed to be protecting are suffering in plain sight in their city year after year while they do parades, press conferences bragging about pot holes with dumb grins on their faces.
Los Angeles shelters are killing dogs like it’s a sport while calling it “No Kill” and dogs are being force bred and sold openly without consequence.
You all should have taken our help and resources when we offered them three years ago. Lives could have been saved, suffering and killing prevented but you all wanna play games. So be it. Game on motherfuckers.
