This is a deeply upsetting one. They all are but there is something about this boy and the extreme suffering and trauma he has endured. He is broken. He has a chain embedded in his neck and was tied with nowhere to go for months. He stared into the brick wall. This poor soul needs help. He is terrified. He is in pain and he lunged at a male vet tech because of it. He bit into his own cheek when doing it and that is why there is blood in his run. They have given him trazadone and we are going to ensure he remains on that until he isn’t so terrified and confused. We are getting him basket muzzles and the staff has been educated about how to move forward. He needs medical care but needs to be calm enough to get it. His neck is swollen and so are his eyes.
The rage is hard to describe. This was all preventable. This poor sweet soul has been through absolute hell on earth. He was covered in flies laying in his own waste in the sun for MONTHS. No one knows the hell he endured before that and now he has to begin the journey of healing and it will be a very very long road.
Los Angeles garbage leaders and all who know this is happening yet remains silent – you should be ashamed. And anyone who diminishes the suffering these animals are enduring every single day and laugh at the people trying to save them. You’re all disgusting. This is absolutely diabolical. It’s actual hell on earth. This is everyones problem and Los Angeles should be ashamed of itself.
