🍁 THANKSGIVING FOR ANGELS 2024
The Stand Up For Pits Foundation will be feeding an estimated 300 animals Thanksgiving meals at the Lanacaster Animal Care Center on Nov 24th! While SUFP is a pit bull “type” organization on this day ALL types of animals will be getting their own Thanksgiving dinner complete with pumpkin pie and whipped cream! In addition to providing some love and much deserved comfort food to these precious animals in need we will have professional photographers there to take photos and our SUFP camera crew to document the entire event. Our hope is to raise awareness, inspire others, provide love and fun for the shelter animals and hopefully get some saved! Shelters nationwide are desperate for volunteers and the animals are desperate for human connection. Thanksgiving For Angels will showcase the many animals at this facility who need to be seen and saved. The shelter will be closed to the public Nov 24th BUT you can be a part of this special event by donating supplies, funds and sharing all the posts that will be provided in real time that day.

🍁 THE ANGELS
We are purchasing enough food to feed an estimated 250 large dogs. It will be freshly made and delivered the day of the event. In addition to feeding the dogs, one week prior we will have an accurate count as to how many cats, guinee pigs, rabbits, horses, turtles, chickens, goats and pigs there may or may not be there. No matter what, they will all be getting Thanksgiving meals.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Please consider donating to the Thanksgiving For Angels amazon wish supply list and/or making a monetary donation to the Stand Up For Pits Foundation. We will be filming the event and will be editing together a short film which will be available to the LAAS and the public. Estimated cost for all the food and production is $8000.00. So we will need your help! The day of the event we will be live streaming and posting the dogs and we ask you all to do the same!! The more awareness we bring to this special event the better chance we have of getting animals saved and inspiring more people to get involved.
